Now that you can knit two stitches together with a Knook, it's time to learn about purling two stitches together. Look at you, adding to your knowledge about decreasing techniques! Like knitting two stitches together, purling two stitches together is pretty simple because of how straightforward it is. How straightforward? See for yourself.
(Video can also be found here.)
Very straightforward, very simple. You could just pull the yarn back through any number of stitches on your Knook and it would be purling 'X' stitches together. I've used patterns that called for knitting or purling four stitches together, and I think those are scenarios where a hook could come in handy.
Sorry for such a short post, but I don't have a lot to say on the Knooking front. I'm going to get started on another dishcloth tonight after my daughter goes to bed. I can't get very much done in general when she awake, and I can't do anything yarn-related when she's awake. I'm flattered by the attention, but mama's got stuff to do!
How am I supposed to find the time to knit her some booties? I was planning on making her a pair of Christmas booties because nothing says love like handknits. Unless maybe you read a stacks of books and sing "Frosty the Snowman" half a dozen times in an hour. I guess that's another way to show your love.
It just doesn't help your gift list any.
(When I win the Mother of the Year Award, is the trophy going to be mailed to my house or will there be a presentation ceremony? Because I may need to get a sitter for that.)
What were we talking about again? Right, something about being busy. I'm sure you're the same way. Good luck with your holiday projects and happy Knooking!
